Amy Bumgarner

Amy has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina State University and a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy from East Carolina University. She spent several years in a pediatric clinic specializing in sensory integration before transitioning to early intervention in the home environment. Amy is SIPT certified and has also had training in myofascial release, NDT, therapeutic listening, and the development of a handwriting program. Amy especially loves working with children who have autism. She has been working with pediatrics since 2007. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and dogs. You can find them at the ball field, lake, or camping.
